2. Scope and data subjects covered by this policy

This Policy applies to two categories of data subjects: (i) personal data of the Client and its staff authorized to use the Platform (“Users”); and (ii) personal data of patients that the Client registers on the Platform in connection with its dental practice, for which Eucalyptus AR SAS acts as data processor on behalf of the Client, who remains the primary controller vis-à-vis its patients.

3. Data we collect

(a) Contact and account data of the Client and its Users: name, email, phone number, billing information.

(b) Platform usage data: access logs, in-system activity, IP address, for security and technical support purposes.

(c) Patient health data entered by the Client: clinical history, patient contact details, appointments, treatments, and any other information the Client chooses to record on the Platform. This data is entered and controlled by the Client and is not collected directly by the Provider from patients.

4. Purpose of processing

Data described in 3(a) and 3(b) is used to: manage the contractual relationship with the Client, bill for the Service, provide technical support, ensure Platform security, and comply with legal obligations.

Data described in 3(c) is processed solely to enable the Client to provide dental practice management services through the Platform, in accordance with the Client's own instructions. Eucalyptus AR SAS does not use this data for its own purposes, except in aggregated and anonymized form for statistical purposes or to improve the Software.

5. Legal basis and consent

Processing of Client and User data is based on the contractual relationship established under the SaaS Services Agreement. Processing of patient data is carried out on behalf of the Client, who is responsible for obtaining patients' informed consent in accordance with the regulations applicable to its professional activity.

6. Retention period

Data is retained for as long as the Contract with the Client remains in force. Upon termination, data will be retained for the export period provided for in the Contract (30 days), after which it will be deleted, unless a longer retention period is legally required.

7. Data subject rights

Data subjects may exercise their rights of access, rectification, update, and deletion in accordance with applicable data protection law, by contacting info@dentu.com.ar. Regarding patient data, such requests must be channeled through the Client (the dental clinic or practice), who is the primary controller vis-à-vis its patients; the Provider will assist the Client in fulfilling such requests in its capacity as data processor.

8. Data transfers and hosting

Data is hosted on servers provided by [proveedor de infraestructura cloud], located in [región/país].

9. Security measures

Eucalyptus AR SAS applies technical and organizational security measures (encryption, access controls, data segregation through a dedicated environment per client, periodic backups) to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

10. Use of cookies and similar technologies

We use first-party and third-party cookies. You can accept all cookies, reject non-essential ones, or manage your preferences from the site's consent banner.

11. Changes to this policy

This Policy may be updated from time to time. The current version will be published on this site, indicating its last update date. Last updated: August 7, 2026.

12. Contact and supervisory authority

For any inquiry related to the processing of personal data, data subjects may contact info@dentu.com.ar. Data subjects also have the right to file a complaint with the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP), Argentina's data protection authority.
